Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ServiceClip ("the Service"), operated by ServiceClip ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Description of the Service
ServiceClip is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that enables churches and religious organizations to upload video recordings of services, generate transcripts, extract sermon clips, and publish content to platforms such as YouTube and podcast directories.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or your organization to use the Service. By accepting these Terms, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.
4. Acceptable Use
Your Content
You retain ownership of all video recordings, transcripts, clips, and other content you upload or create through the Service ("Your Content"). By uploading content, you grant ServiceClip a limited license to process, store, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
Copyright Responsibility
You are solely responsible for ensuring that all content you upload complies with applicable copyright law. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Music played during services (worship songs, background music, or licensed recordings)
- Video clips or media incorporated into your services
- Third-party content of any kind
ServiceClip does not verify the copyright status of uploaded content. You bear full responsibility for obtaining all necessary licenses or permissions for any third-party material included in your recordings before uploading or publishing.
Prohibited Content
You may not use the Service to upload, store, or distribute content that:
- Infringes any third-party intellectual property rights
- Contains unlawful, defamatory, hateful, obscene, or pornographic material
- Violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
- Contains malware, spyware, or other malicious code
- Impersonates another person or organization
5. Third-Party Platforms
The Service integrates with third-party platforms including YouTube (Google LLC). When you connect a third-party account to ServiceClip, you are also bound by that platform's terms of service. We are not responsible for any actions taken by third-party platforms with respect to your content.
6. Service Availability
We will make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available and operational. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, unplanned outages, or factors outside our control. We will not be liable for any losses caused by Service interruptions.
7. Subscription and Payment
Details regarding subscription plans, pricing, and billing are provided at the time of sign-up and may be updated from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes to pricing before they take effect. You authorize us to charge your payment method on the schedule associated with your plan.
8. Termination
By You
You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon cancellation, your access to the Service will end at the close of your current billing period.
By Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, with or without notice, if:
- You violate these Terms or our Acceptable Use policy
- We believe your account is being used for fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activity
- We discontinue the Service (with reasonable advance notice)
Upon termination, your access to Your Content will cease and we will delete it within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy of AI-generated transcripts or clip suggestions.
AI-generated transcripts and clip suggestions may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before publishing.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ServiceClip shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, loss of data, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ServiceClip and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a notice within the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ServiceClip operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
